This photo was probably taken at Iwakuni, VMFA-232's homebase in 1974. They had relocated there in 1973 after the end of the Vietnam war. In 1977, the unit relocated to Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. This F-4J was later upgraded to F-4S standard. This photo was added on 4 October 2020, and has since been viewed 837 times. |
