The Auster Club organised a fly-in at the former Beagle Auster airfield at Rearsby. The fly-in was held after the crops had been harvested on the long disused airfield with the aircraft landing on the stubble. This was one of the few non-Auster aircraft present, though no-one was heard complaining about it being there !
