Manufactured by Nihon Aircraft Manufacturing Corporation (NAMC) in 1970, the first flight took place on 04/03/1970 as JQ2141, converted NAMC YS-11A-227. Delivered 05/1970 to Toa Airways, Japan, as JA8765. Re-rgd. 05/1977 to TDA - Toa Domestic Airlines and named 'Yashima'. Registered 04/1988 to JAS Japan Air System, still rgd. as JA8765. Registered 21/05/1992 as N992CL to TCA Limited, Makaha, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. Stored at Mojave 10/1992. Reg. canx. on 05/08/1993 as exported to Trinidad and Tobago.
