This RF-4E accompanied RF-84G 11253 on its journey from Greece to the Netherlands to become preservered there. Unfortunately, the Phantom only made a low pass after the Thunderflash had landed at Volkel. This aircraft was written of on 6 June 2008 when it skidded off the runway at Santorini/Thira in Greece following a hydraulic failure.
