As part of the Tactical Air Command, the 91st Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron flew its missions beginning in July 1971. It conducted reconnaissance training of USAF, US Marine Corps, and allied RF-4 reconnaissance aircrews between 1982 and 1989 and acted as adviser to Air National Guard reconnaissance units until 1992. As part of the closure of Bergstrom AFB (TX) and retirement of the RF-4C the 91st was inactivated on 30 August 1991. The squadron bird of the 91st Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron "Demon Chasers". Moved to AMARC on 7 Aug'92 and got inventory FP882 assigned, was selected for the QRF-4C program and left for BAE Systems, Mojave (CA) on 25 Jan'11.
