Each year one of these modified King Airs comes out to the west coast from Newfoundland for the summer months. They are flying patrols over the sea for the Federal Department of Fisheries and Oceans, usually at 500 feet. Often heard on ATC as "Speedair 06", they rarely land here except as in this case when they need more fuel. It's interesting to see how the the sun and salt air environment has taken a toll on the paint.
