VH-RVY seen here with its new Lycoming IO-360 installed. Work to replace the Gypsy engine in the former Royal Victorian Aero Club aircraft had started in 1978 and the work was finally finished in 1983. There was no change of designation. On November 14, 2014, engine problems brought down -RVY short of Luskintyre aerodrome, New South Wales, resulting in substantial damage. The registration was cancelled soon after.
