This was the 2nd of 12 ordered by TAA. took it's first flight at Renton on the 16th of June 1986. it was originally to be named "Friendship" but was changed to "Advance" Australian Airways was sold to Qantas on the 14th of September 1992 it took up the Qantas livery. It entered the New Zealand register as ZK-JNG on Feb. 12, 2003. On December the 21st. 2006 it was re-registered in Australia as VH-XMB once again flying the Qantas livery.
