This Š-218 first flew with the Aviation School Prostějov and then was acquired by the Central Slovak Aeroclub Zvolen. It was registered OK-ZOB in April 1936 upon its return to the parent factory Letov, which later transferred it to the collection of the National Technical Museum. The plane was transported to the Letecké Muzeum Kbely in September 1978, and its renovation began shortly thereafter.
