The Kongelige Norske Luftforsvaret once operated 22 T-17s with the Luftforsvarets Flygeskole (LFS) from its homebase at Bardufoss. Through the years four were written off during accidents, two became a instructional airframes (possibly after accidents too) and one was stored and cannibalised after an accident. The LFS now(2020) flies with fifteen T-17s. Training continues through the year, also during snow.
