Luftforsvaret once operated 22 T-17s with the Luftforsvarets Flygeskole (LFS) from homebase of Bardufoss. Through the years four were written off during accidents, two became instructional airframes (possibly after accidents too) and one was stored and cannibalised after an accident. So the LFS nowadays (2020) flies with fifteen T-17s. Training continues through the year, also during snow.
