Seen here on taxi out from the southern 'Z' apron on the regular JAL cargo run, this was the penultimate DC-8 built, delivered to JAL almost exactly ten years prior to this slide being taken. Sold in 10.83; after serving Zantop and CF Airfreight, in mid-2004 she became ST-UAA of United Arabian and after several more re-registrations, stored at CPT as ZS-YDB after Stars Away ceased ops in 11.12 This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
