Built for US Navy in June 1956 as WV-2 141306. Redesignated EC-121K and modified to EC-121P. Transferred to USAF in 1967 and converted to EC-121R 'Batcat' reconnaissance aircraft, one of 30 so modified. Operated by 553/554 Recce Squadrons of 553 Recce Wing based at Korat, Thailand for operation over Vietnam. Retired to MASDC Davis Monthan by March 1971 and later scrapped.
