Golden Gate was the short-lived product of a merger between Gem State and Air Pacific in 1979. In early 1980, Air Oregon, the first operator of N4860J also joined, but the venture didn't survive long after a further merger with Swift Aire Lines in 1981. The aircraft ended up as N701GA with Gulfstream International but was broken up at FLL in 10.00 This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
