Looking very pretty with the radar nose is this pressurized Aero Commander. It became G-AWCU with British Steel on 1 February 1968 and N46832 on 22 June 1973. Sadly it was destroyed in a near vertical dive from 16000 ft. at Cynthiana/KY on 5 February 1974. In the background is one of the first DC-9s in Europe (HB-IFA), just a few days after delivery.
