This MiG-21F-13, with its typical bulb cockpit, was delivered to the National Volks Armee (NVA) in July 1964. It served Taktische Aufklärungsfliegerstaffel) 47 (TAFS-47) from Preschen air base but was struck off charge on 23 October 1985. It then served as an instructional airframe with Jagdgeschwader 3 Tarntechnik, scheinbares DHS, praktisch Attrappen. Eventually in July 1994 the MiG was withdrawn from use and is reported since June 2000 as instructional airframe at Lehnin.
