At the Paris Airshow and carrying No 343 for the airshow. This pre-production aircraft was a late arrival during the show and I managed to talk my way onto the flight line for some photographs before it was moved to the static park. The reason for the late arrival was that it is a replacement for original show aircraft CCCP-42303 (c/n 02) which crashed on 30 May 1977 and is actually CCCP-1976, hastily re-identified.
