Although this Chipmunk was delivered to the Royal Danish Air Force in 1950 and flew in Danish colors as a warbird when going to the USA in 1979, it's now painted in Canadian colors. It represents the third of the three first Chipmunks delivered to the RCAF in 1948. The rest of the RCAF aircraft were DHC-1B-2-S3 models with the more familiar (in Canada) bubble canopy.
