Scrapped at Moorabbin in 1961 four years after being withdrawn from use. Despite what is stated in multiple places online, this is not the aircraft that was converted into CA-28 Ceres VH-SSF. That was converted from CA-16 A20-129 purchased by CAC in 1958 as a direct disposal from the government. Both aircraft existed at the same time, the Ceres initially registered as VH-CEO in January 1961. Source: Geoff Goodall. This photo was added on 14 October 2019, and has since been viewed 578 times. |
