The M-346A Master training jet is modified to Fighter Attack (FA) variant, and this MT55232 is a test aircraft, redesignated to M-346FA, and in use by manufacturer Leonardo, as well as the Italian Air Force for operational tests. The aircraft carries for promotional purposes hardpoints underneath the wings with air-to-air missiles attached, as well as the badge of the International Flying Training School, based at Lecce air base (Italy).
