Fresh out of the paint shop. Previously N160DD of American Eagle (Flagship) and had been stored in the desert for a few years before being resurrected. Destroyed on 27th February 2001 when it crashed into the Firth of Forth after suffering a double engine failure on take off from Edinburgh. Unfortunately the crew did not survive. It was on a mail run so had no pax. This photo is copyright © Ian Howat, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
