The Balloon Park of the Danish army air arm took delivery of two Cierva autogyros in February 1936 and July 1937. In October 1940 M-1 and M-2 were sold to Sweden as SE-AKW and SE-AKZ. M-2 is seen at Vlissingen (Flushing), Netherlands, likely during its delivery flight. In the background are two locally built Scheldemusch light aircraft.
