Photographed near Anchorage in 1946. After participating in the Berlin Airlift, this Skymaster vanished on 26 January 1950 on a flight from Elmendorf AFB, Alaska to Great Falls AFB, Montana. No trace has ever been found of the aircraft or the 44 people on board.
