VH-ILF was an entrant in the 1969 London-Sydney air race and is shown here before leaving for the start line at Gatwick. It was flown a navy team and sponsored by Philips and the local Beechcraft agent. -ILF was destroyed in a crash at Newman, Western Australia, on October 6, 1971.
