Harvard IIB of 613 (City of Manchester) Squadron, Royal Auxiliary Air Force. Landing on the 3300 ft Runway 28-10, it overshot, passed through the fence and over the A538 Wilmslow Road, ending in a farmers field. The aircraft was written off, but the crew survived.
