This PA-18-135 Piper Cub carried MDAP serial 54-2464 and is ex KLu R-174. It was del to Belgium on 23oct75 and operated by the Luchtkadetten. The a/c was damaged during a storm over Oostmalle on 09aug92. It was repaired by may95. LB06 crashed at Goetsenhoven air base in which both pilots died. The plane was owned by the Belgian Air Cadets and used as a glider tug. It ran into trouble during take-off and crashed into a car park next to the airbase and then caught fire on 03rd July, 2009.
