Overview of the ground level helipad H1 at NC91. FAA data gives an activation date of November 1979 for this heliport; ECU Health's EastCare service was not established until 1985, however. The earliest helipad at this location was located to the southeast of this one, and was extant until 1998 when this current one was first constructed. This pad was expanded circa 2005-2006, and a rooftop helipad H2 was added in 2003.
