This T-33 was formerly RCAF 133162 and was obtained by Bolivia in 1973, but in 1977 made a crash-landing after mechanical difficulty on a race course near Oruro, about 140 mi south of La Paz. It was installed as a monument here in 1982, initially in phoney camouflage colours, but was later returned to its original natural metal scheme
