During an attempt to take off from the Douro River to deal with a wildfire in the municipality of Gondomar on 31st July 2025, this Canadair struck the east bank with its left wing, resulting in damage. The aircraft was brought ashore using a crane and a floating platform for repairs. Note detached wing float behind.
