This was the last airworthy Mosquito and it was owned by British Aerospace. First flying in 1940 the Mossie was a very effective, fast, all wooden aircraft and over 7000 were built. Tragically, this aircraft crashed and was destroyed killing both crew at Barton, Manchester during a display on 27th July 1996.
