The RNZAF was the last military user of the Short Sunderland retiring the last from service with 5(MR) Squadron in April 1967, the type having been replaced by the P-3B Orion. NZ4113 is ex RAF PP124, and was scrapped at Hobsonville later in 1967. (photographer unknown)
