Former Soviet Army Aviation Mi-24R with manufacturer date 19 November 1986. Was sold to Ukraine Army Aviation 6 December 1991. Modified to Mi-24V and transferred as CH-630 to the Sri Lanka Air Force on 6 August 2000, assigned to 9 Attack Helicopter Squadron at Hingurakgoda. Reserialled to SAH-4409 by February 2011. It made its last flight 26 April 2006 with just over 1,000 flight hours in the logbooks. Although not operational anymore, it received a new serial, SAH-630. It is seen here in a bad condition, stored with the Aircraft Engineering Wing.
