This F-35 would have been part of a production batch for Turkey. After Turkey was excluded from the F-35 programme, this batch was taken over by the US Air Force. The US Air Force brought two F-35s from Alaska to Aero India 2025. The guys from Alaska took part in the daily flight programme and demonstrated the performance capabilities of the F-35 in an impressive manner.

One of the top attractions of Aeroindia 2025, F-35A 19-5534 is seen here prior to its display on the opening day of this great event. The aircraft is assigned to 354 Fighter Wing at Eielson AFB, Alaska, and made the trip to India as part of a two-ship. The construction number of this aircraft indicates it was once destined for delivery to Turkey, until this order was unilaterally cancelled by the United States Government.
