The aircraft, came from Olocau (Valencia) aerodrome, with the pilot the sole occupant, for an approach to Pozo Cañada. It touched down on the second half of the runway. Although the pilot braked, he was unable to stop the aircraft. It overshot and ended up on an embankment adjacent to the strip, impacting the ground at the bottom of the slope, where it came to rest.
