Still in partial original livery of American Airlines, with whom it served from May 51 to Dec 66. Ownership passed on to F.B. Ayer in Dec 66 and James D. Melvin in Aug 78. Evidence suggests that it remained stored all that time in TUS until reported broken up in 1983. A great pity that after all that time it wasn't saved and preserved (by American Airlines for example). An added bonus with this photo is N2942H, an Erco 415-C Ercoupe c/n 3567.
