Another memory. Six months after this photo was taken, this aircraft was painted in the pseudo-retro Hapag-Lloyd Kreuzfahrten livery, a great improvement in both brand and visual image.

This one came into TXL on a charter flight, wearing a simplified Eastern Airways livery derived from that of its previous operator, City Airline, for which it flew as SE-LSA. The aircraft has also flown for Blue1, Air Botnia, and Scandinavian Commuter earlier in its career, and more recently was leased out to BA Cityflyer, operating on behalf of British Airways.

Rare photo of this Air Berlin Fokker departing TXL for the last time, with Australian registration already added, destined for a future with Network Aviation in Oz. Formerly registered D-AGPJ, it flew in the colors of Germania and dba before being taking on the identity of Air Berlin.
