Afternoon arrival - Sharp Airlines flight 496 from Beverley (mining town) about to land on Rw 05. At the time of writing, there may have been some shuffling of aircraft used by Sharp Airlines. Of note is that no Sharp Airlines liveried Metros have been based in Adelaide for a time. Currently noted are two in the livery shown in the photo, the other VH-SRQ. Maroon tailed VH-OYN may no longer be based Adelaide, while similar liveried VH-OYB was recorded as still in Adelaide.

Now sans the 'MAC' titles, Rescue 52 on this occasion was operating as Polair 52. Just noticeable above the rear edge of the rear window is Babcock's blue teardrop logo.

Morning departure and about 12 hours behind the original schedule - Cathay Pacific flight 2174 departs off Rw 23 bound for Hong Kong. CP's semi-regular cargo only flights operate during the Covid-19 pandemic and border restrictions. These flights had commenced in June 2020 on Sunday mornings in and out of Adelaide for a few months before ceasing, routing HKG-SYD-ADL-HKG . They had recommenced on the same routing earlier in 2021 but were scheduled into Adelaide late on Saturday nights as the above flight had originally been. For reasons not known this leg had been delayed by approximately 12 hours allowing an opportunity for a daylight photo.

Still in its former Saudi livery not long after delivery to Jetstar, JQW taxis onto Rw 23 for take-off on a hot January morning. This aircraft later became 9V-JSE with Jetstar Asia, then VH-XJE back with Jetstar (Australia) and in April 2021 became VH-UVQ with Network Aviation Australia.

Preparing to land pad west. Operating as Rescue 55, this was returning from a mission to, at first the Wallaroo Hospital in that town on Yorke Penisula, then a location 'near Kadina' not far from Wallaroo, then to the Royal Adelaide Hospital before returning to Adelaide Airport.

First time in Adelaide back in June 2000, HARS' Connie attracted plenty of attention with people eagerly lining up for an inspection of the interior.

Morning arrival - flight Jetex 505 on short final for Rw 05 after completing a 33 minute circuit from Adelaide, over Kangaroo Island and return.

Not affording a great shooting angle, Babcock's Agusta 412SP departs initially south off pad west for a circuit Adelaide to Adelaide that lasted about 75 minutes. It is operated by Babcock Mission Critical Services Australasia.

Morning departure - Singapore Airlines flight 278 bound for Singapore departing downwind off Rw 23. Duty runway all day before and after this departure had been Rw 05. Obviously the pilot had received permission to use 23 but the tower did seek confirmation as it taxied that 23 was still requested advising a 10 kt tailwind. Due to Covid-19 restrictions traffic was light allowing the flight crew to use the opposing runway on this occasion.
