After starting in 2012 with secondhand A320s, VivaColombia placed a huge order for 50 new A320s. In late 2018 the first of these factory new A320s joined the fleet. The airline's name changed to Viva Air in April 2018. They no longer operate only in Colombia, but also in Peru and Ecuador.

Now painted in full Avianca colours. These Embraers are not based in Bogota, but at the TACA base in San Salvador and Lima.
