Quite a rare sight - a bizjet taking off from a grass field after a full stop. Texel's grass runway is known to be excellent and can easily handle this old Citation. especially after two months of drought here. The heraldic coat of arms on the tailfin is also of interest - I wonder who the actual operator is of this 1977 jet, which is based at Teuge (EHTE). This Citation was built as Cessna 500 c/n 500-0371, and converted to Cessna 501 c/n 501-0279 in January 1997.

The Royal Jordanian Falcons got new Extras again, this time with military serials. They originally flew the EA-300 with shoulder wing, then the EA-300L with lower-set wing, and now the EA-300LX. The team did not perform at Texel this afternoon due to the weather.
