The array of Mirages at Savigny-lès-Beaune includes this machine, labelled as the Mirage IIIO01 (three Oscar zero one), which was flown with a Rolls-Royce Avon engine. Australia eventually opted for the standard Atar engine in its Mirage IIIOs. This aircraft was later modified to be Mirage 3E '03' and used by CEV for aerial refueling trials.
