The maiden flight of this technology demonstrator took place on 14 September 2015, just in time to participate at the NATO Days 2015. This aircraft is a modified demonstrator aircraft based on a converted former Ukrainian L-39C, which was equipped with a new engine and new avionics for the launch of the L-39NG programme.
