Delivered to US Navy as a PBY4Y in 1945 and transferred to the USCG around 1951 . Hawkins and Powers tanker 126 since 1969 . Retired in july 2002 as a result of the structural failure of sister ship N7620C during a firefighting mission in Colorado .
