During its take-off roll from runway 27 at Los Llanos, the pilot of this Eurofighter experienced something with its piece of hardware and quickly released its braking chute. Luckily, nothing went wrong and the jet came to stop at the very end of the runway. C.16-59 was delivered to the Spanish Air Force in October 2013. It shows a "Pacific Skies 2024" deployment marking on its tail. This photo is copyright © Stephan de Bruijn, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
