The aircraft was taking part in the AOPA "Parade of Planes" from Palm Springs International Airport through the city's streets to the downtown Conference Centre where the annual AOPA Convention was being held that year. Location: Intersection of Sunrise Way and East Tahquitz Canyon Way, coordinates: 33.82314 -116.52874. On 16-03-2012 this aircraft was transferred to the Bolivian marks CP-2710 but later went to Venezuela as YV-3469; however it was last reported on 11th September 2022 when it ran off the runway and into undergrowth after landing at Los Roques Airport, Venezuela.
