Originally operated by the East German Air Force's, Luftstreitkräfte der Nationalen Volksarmee, JG-3. After the East German military was integrated into the unified German Bundeswehr, it served with the Luftwaffe's JG 73 until sold to Poland for a symbolic 1 euro becoming 4115 with 41st Air Tactical Squadron until retired in 2007 and donated to the museum in April 2008.
