Built as an Avia-14M (just over the road from Kbely at Letňany) and operated by the MNO (Czechoslovak Ministry of National Defence) from July 1958, this aircraft was transferred to CSA as OK-MCB in April 1961, but that registration was cancelled as soon as October 1961. It returned to the Air Force and was converted to an Avia-14FG aerial survey aircraft with the prominent glazed nose extension in 1967/1968, making its last flight in April 1994 from Pardubice to Kbely. Recently beautifully restored to become one of my absolute favourite exhibits at this superb museum This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
