On 2 Oct 1983 crashed at Twentynine Palms, San Bernardino County, California, while on a practice bombing run. The two crew were killed after ejection. Cause was a faulty patch on the outer wing which came off and tore the outer wing from the aircraft. At the time it was with VMA(AW)-121, USMC. Photo by Denis Hughes.
