The owner is a Wilga fan who lost his previous example in a tent hangar fire here at Świebodzice. This replacement aircraft was imported from Germany and it still has stencils in German. It is almost certainly ex D-EWBV, delivered to East Germany in 1974 as DM-WBV. It is seen returning from a test flight following a slight pneumatic issue.
