Written off after the pilot lost control and crashed trying to land at Portmoak. The canopy of the glider had not been locked and started to open . The pilot, concerned it might detach and hit the tail, was forced to hold it in place. He eventually ran out of hands to simultaneously hold the canopy and the joystick and operate the flaps and air brakes.
