The Iryda was an advanced jet trainer in the class of the Hawk and Alpha Jet, but powered by outmoded turbojet engines. The first prototype flew in 1985, well before the fall of communism. The Polish air force finally cancelled the type 13 years later in 1998. This is assumed to be the fourth airframe, ex SP-PWC and previously on display here as "104'".
